We have recently closed our Financial

Year 2014-2015, another thriving year

packed with innovaons and strategic

projects as we connue to uphold our

corporate philosophy of building bridges

between Africa and the world. Nearly

eight years aer incepon and with

clients inmore than 120 countries, I invite

I am also honoured to announce that Naonal Bank of Canada (NBC) has acquired an addional

8% shareholding in AfrAsia Bank, bringing its total equity stake to 17.5%. NBC, being now AfrAsia

Bank’s second largest shareholder, marks thus a decisive step in our connued expansion both in

the region and internaonally.

Golf remains a key passion point in our sponsorship por!olio in line with providing our clients

priceless experiences. We were delighted to welcome back our brand ambassador Hennie O"o on

the Maurian green following AfrAsia Bank Maurius Open in May 2015. In line with focusing on

children’s welfare as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility programmes, we have launched

the AfrAsia Golf Academy in collaboraon with Ti-Rayon Soleil and Maurius Golf Federaon.

Idenfying, inspiring and empowering junior golfers, this iniave aims at transforming them into

tomorrow’s golf pros, which you will be able to read more in this newsle"er.

Last but not least, we connue to expand our footprint through on-the-ground presence at

conferences, roadshows, including leveraging panel speaking opportunies to show our unique

capabilies as a private and corporate bank while also showcasing Maurius as an internaonal

financial centre of substance and the gateway to invesng in Africa.
