The Board of Investment organised the 1st ediƟon of the ‘MauriƟus - Africa
Partnership conference’ on the 25th and 26th June 2014 in MauriƟus. The focus
was on collaboraƟon between Investment PromoƟon Agencies with a view to
opƟmising the growth potenƟal of Africa. AfrAsia was a bronze sponsor of this
conference, and the Bank’s team was present at the event.
AfrAsia Bank was among the key sponsors of the 3rd Annual China Offshore Summit held in Beijing, on 28th and
29th May 2014. The two-day meeƟng gathered China’s leading financial intermediaries and exclusive discussion
forum with bankers, lawyers, offshore professionals and representaƟves from trust companies and corporate
service providers. The theme of the summit on day one was “Wealth Management” and “Corporate structuring”
on day two. Yogesh Gokool, Head of InternaƟonal Banking, Trusts & Custody at AfrAsia Bank, parƟcipated in the
panel discussion “Preserve Your Private Assets through Offshore Wealth Management”.
