AfrAsia Bank in collaboraƟon with the Ministry of Arts and Culture and Constance Hotels and Resorts welcomed Bamba Sourang for his first
solo exhibiƟon in MauriƟus from 19th to 26th June at the MauriƟus InsƟtute Building (museum), Port Louis. His art pieces were also showcased
at the AfrAsia World of Art from 30th June to 15th July 2014. Bamba Sourang, a Senegalese-born arƟst based in France, is well known for his
passion about images and the journeys that lead to them.
In line with sharing our clients’ passion and lifestyle, AfrAsia Bank also aims at being acƟvely involved in reinforcing this cross-cultural arƟsƟc
ideology, promoƟng emerging local/internaƟonal arƟsts, as well as mapping MauriƟus as a financial, logisƟcs and lifestyle hub.
The end of the first phase of the AfrAsia Barcelona Club program saw the 24 finalists returning from their one-week intense training at the
FCBescola. The theory lessons which were held along with training sessions provided them with an in-depth coaching to further develop their
technical skills as well as their strategic thinking on the field.
As part of AfrAsia’s CSR philosophy, our priority remains children educaƟon and development and we believe this project is the perfect fit in
idenƟfying great talents and giving them the required level of training, support and capabiliƟes to help them reach their full potenƟal. The next
phase of this pioneering program will oversee the establishment of an FC Barcelona-style football academy managed and run by the coaching
staff of Football First.
