2014 organised by PwC MauriƟus on 5 March at Hennessy Park
Hotel in Ebene. Among the 89 annual reports submiƩed to PwC
and 75 websites reviewed, AfrAsia Bank, for the second consecuƟve
year, bags the ‘Online ReporƟng’ award and for the first Ɵme is
also awarded in the category ‘Financial InsƟtuƟons’. Moreover, the
bank has also been nominated in the category ‘Risk Management
Disclosures’ in this year’s ediƟon.

AŌer Johannesburg and Cape Town, AfrAsia Bank opens its third
representaƟve office in London. Garry Sharp has been appointed as
Head of Private Equity and London RepresentaƟve Office. This office
will enable the Bank to have a physical presence in what remains the
world’s leading financial centre.
This step confirms AfrAsia Bank’s established strategy and aspiraƟon to
be the leading bank in the region in line with promoƟng MauriƟus as a
regional and financial business centre of excellence. AŌer six years of
