The Africa Financial Services Investment Conference, held in Brighton (UK) on the 15-
16 May, brought together listed and unlisted financial services companies from across
Africa, with both debt and equity insƟtuƟonal investors, and other interested parƟes.
Further to being a silver sponsor of the conference, Parikshat Tulsidas, Head of Business
Development – Africa, was one of the key speakers focusing on the theme ‘AfrAsia Bank
– Banking InnovaƟon at its best in MauriƟus and beyond’.

The AVCA Conference 2014 held in Lagos (Nigeria) aƩracted some 7,800 individuals, represenƟng more than 1,500 internaƟonal companies
from 100 countries and approximately 45 African and non-African government delegaƟons. This year’s ediƟon was placed under the general
theme of ‘Private Equity: A catalyst for change’.
