With a score of 81.7 points out of 100, Mauritius once again tops the
Ibrahim Index of African Governance (IIAG) 2014; a remarkable feat
since this has been achieved for the eighth consecutive year. According
to this report, Mauritius also ranks first in two categories among the 52
different African countries evaluated, namely in Sustainable Economic
Opportunity and Human Development.
