April Women Month
In line with our allegiance towards the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, AfrAsia Foundation has renewed its
commitment to fight against Cancer by launching the 3rd Edition of the Women Health Month at the beginning of April 2017.
Throughout the whole month, more than 40 AfrAsian ladies benefited from free breast and cervical cancer screenings at Link to
Life. An AfrAsia Cancer Awareness Workshop was also organised on 14th April at the Ebene Branch to educate about colon cancer
and healthy eating habits. Well known French dietician, Benjamin Thevenin, emphasised on the key contribution of a well-balanced
nutrition as one of the preventive measures against cancer.
